Hello Friends, I hope that you are all having a great day today.  We have been reading and learning all along that what we think is what we manifest in our lives and we all know now that this is a fundamental truth.  In studying lesson 19 of the Master Keys this past week I had a great epiphany that  “THOUGHT IS POWER”  Thought has power over everything, over fear, over lack and poverty, over health and well being.  I think that passage seventeen in this weeks lesson says it all…

“17. You may know that thought constantly, eternally is taking form, is forever seeking expression, or you may not, but the fact remains that if your thought is powerful, constructive, and positive, this will be plainly evident in the state of your health, your business and your environment; if your thought is weak, critical, destructive and negative generally, it will manifest in your body as fear, worry and nervousness, in your finance as lack and limitation, and in discordant conditions in your environment.”

WOW!!!  So much power packed into such a short and simple statement.  I think that if any person was to read this statement and believe it to be a truth and apply it to their life, they would have great results…Of course it’s not as easy as it sounds due to the fact that we have all been conditioned in our lives that unless we buy a certain toothpaste or laundry detergent or a certain brand of corn flakes, or act in a certain way(I think you get the picture)  that we won’t measure up to any kind of value in our society.  What a sad state of affairs we’ve gotten ourselves into…Thank goodness that this incredible journey has found us and taught us all of these great truths and  heightened our awareness so that we may greatly improve our lives and those around us and on a larger scale, the world around us.

I just watched the film “I Am” yesterday actually I watched it twice and what a great experience it was.  I won’t go into all of the details, in case you haven’t seen it yet, but I will talk about a couple of the many things that I took from the film.  In the film Tom Shadyac shows the contrast of the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor and what is wrong with this picture?  He shows the grandest estates and properties while across the street people are picking through garbage cans and across the border and around the world the poorest of the poor in their de-humanizing conditions.  Tom states that the need to accumulate so much is a definition of insanity or mental illness.  I refer to it as greed and it is a disease especially when so many have so little or nothing at all.  The worst part is that greed is an accepted way of life in this world, especially in our own country.  Another point that I took from the film is that through Love, understanding and awareness, we can all do something about this…we may not be able to personally change the world, but what about helping that person next to you or the person down the street or any person that you encounter along your path.  It starts with us, if everybody did just a little to help another, imagine what this world would be like.  I think we all had a good example of this through our new found awareness of Kindness. Tom sent a letter to someone asking the question, What is wrong with our world….and the response that he received was “I AM”………..It all starts with us………….Come on Peeps, We can do this!!!

I also watched the film “Finding Joe” another great experience….I will talk about that one next week, until then, have a great week.

I bid you Peace, Love, Happiness and Kindness…God Bless. 🙂

Stephen, reading your blogs is like having a cup of coffee and a conversation with you! I, too, enjoyed the many perspectives presented in the movie “I Am” – what a gift of technology to see and hear stories so intimately, yet so far away. Yes, thoughts ARE powerful and sharing them is too. Thank you so much for your post! Aloha!

Paul, thank you for such a beautiful blog. The Haanel statement resonated with me as well. We have the power; all we have to do is tune in and use it. Recently I discovered a “tent village” of homeless people in the St. Louis area. This has bothered me immensely since seeing it especially with the temps being in the single digits in this area right now. I have added to my sits my strongest desire to be in a position to help these unfortunate people. In a country as rich as ours I fail to understand how this goes on. Again, thank you.
